Fantasy Football

I wouldnt mind doing it but i am looking for a football dynasty like this one for the future

I'm down for a football league for sure. Dynasty or not- Would be willing to co-commission.

I'd be down to join a league.

So I am counting 6 people who are interested at this point in time (ANA, NYI?, CBJ, TBL, CGY, CHI). A small league would be 8 people and a decent sized league would be 10 people so we are looking at needing 2 or 4 more people. I would prefer to add people from this league to keep it consistent so if you see this, aren't on the list already, and are even slightly interested, especially if you've never played fantasy football before, consider signing up. The plan is to keep it very casual with probably default categories and positions, plus it's not dynasty so there is no long term commitment or strategy.

That being said the season starts in 9 days (Sept. 10th 8:30 EST, PIT vs. NE) and if people are still interested I'm all in. However, that may require finding players from outside this league, so I would like to open it up to you guys as to where we should source GMs from with a couple of suggestions for options. We can either source from people we know, /r/fantasyfootball, /r/fantasyhockey or perhaps a combination of people we know and subreddits. I would ideally like to keep the group very hockey oriented so if it is somebody you know make sure they know hockey and don't care if we are talking about this league the whole time. If we post in /r/fantasyfootball we have to make sure to specify we are looking for hockey fans, perhaps by having interested people post their favorite team and favorite moment from last season or something like that.

Post here if you are interested or have an interested friend, and then come Thursday if we still don't have enough people we'll have to start sourcing reddit. Draft will probably be Monday (Labor day for Americans) afternoon/evening at this point unless anybody has strong objections to that (we can always push it to Tuesday or even Wednesday if it comes down to it.

Yeah snake and standard. I think an auction system will probably be to complicated for this year. If all goes well though we can do this again next year and potentially move to an auction style draft.
