I think it looks ok, would prefer the alien to be in a hockey pose, something like we use on the bars above. Eyes are freaky haha, otherwise it is a good start.

What would you differently about the eyes? I need all notes, because the next thing I'm given is a final copy.

Probably just the color, and might help to recess them a little. Clothes would be nice, I assume that will be added later? Black hockey stick, and it might be cool to have skates on him
So I FINALLY got a .obj file of the fixed up Reddit alien playing hockey. I've been trying to find some 3D Printing services that would make a trophy out of it, but I have not had any luck.
Can somebody please link a few sites here that I can reach out to about pricing?
Officially requesting help on getting this trophy squared away.
I went through somebody on Fiverr.com and they said they would be able to create me a 3D model for the trophy. They created the files above, but when I brought it to a trophy maker they said the design was not stable enough to create a trophy with. I've been hounding the guy to fix the model for the past 2-3 months and today he just came back to me saying he wouldn't be able to do it.
If anybody would like to help the process of creating a trophy for this league, please PM me. I can cover all financial costs of creating the trophy (As long as it's reasonable), just need somebodies help in getting the trophy created!

I whipped this up in the last little while from some online models. The bits in between the antenna are apparently there for support, and can presumably just be popped out. The Snoo itself should print out fine, but I'm not sure what affect the added hockey stick will have. Could perhaps we worth a punt though?
So just heard back already from the 3D printing service I was in contact with a while ago...
They were saying it can cost between $325 - $500 to create the reddit alien and then we'd have to take this model to a trophy maker to place it on top. So this is looking to be mighty expensive. Might be worth it to scratch this route....

That sounds... excessive?! I wonder if the dimensions in my model were off, and they were trying to print something much larger than we intended. I can try and look at some online places too this weekend. Otherwise, the plaque route may be the best for the time being (we can always revisit it in subsequent years too, I suppose?)
