Anyone planning on going to any live hockey games this season? Anyone have season tickets? If so, do tell!
I'll be going to the Montreal vs. St Louis game at the Bell Centre on October 20th. My wife and I managed to snap up some tickets in the 300's. We'll also be going to the Ottawa vs. Arizona game at the Canadian Tire Centre on October 24th. No tickets booked for that yet, but I plan on trying to get some lower down in the arena a day or two before on Stubhub.
At Christmas time, I'll be seeing at least one set of games at the World Junior's in Helsinki. We're planning on seeing a doubleheader on December 28th, with Slovakia taking on the Czech Republic in the first game, and Finland beating Russia in the second.
Other than that, I'll probably go watch a handful of Braehead Clan games (Glaswegian team playing in the British Elite League). I would like to go check out a Jokerit game somewhere in Europe at some point (e.g. in Riga, Latvia or Zagreb, Croatia), but the dates don't look great for those this year. Perhaps next season!
