1. Krejci- Went off with 4 goals and 5 assists for 30.7 total points. 2. Benn- Wasn't far behind Krejci scoring at least an NHL point every game. Him and Seguin look like the most dangerous partnership in the league. 3. Price- The Price was right. Don't know what else to say about the hottest goalie on the planet. Has a phenomenal .957 save %.
Biggest Suprise
Smith- Don't think anyone would have guessed Smith would have been the 3rd highest scoring goalie.
Rookie of the Week
Duclair- Took it this week while making some magic with Domi. So many amazing rookies this year; will be interesting to see who wins the calder.
Matchup of the week
Pittsburg vs San Jose- The highest scoring team from week one vs the 4th highest, should be a close matchup with Stamkos and Burns facing Gaudrea, Perry and Johansen!
Tell me what you think of this summary and if you want me to bring it back for period two. Also if you like it nominate some categories!
1. Kuznetsov: In just 3 games he scored 9 points including 5 vs Edmonton! Started season slow with two points but now he is catching fire. 2. Markov: Wouldn't expect a dman to be this high but when you get 4 apples and a goal against Buffalo you will end up on this list. Montreal are looking unstoppable with 3 guys in the top 4 this week. 3. Pacoiretty: Mr. Consistent with only 2 games without a point. He is doing the C on his jersey justice.
Biggest suprise
Gotta give it to three guys this week, idk if this is cheating. Cammalleri, Henrique, and Zajac just lit it up on the Devils.
Rookie of the week
McDavid: Took him long enough but it looks like this is the beginning of his dominance.
Matchup of the week
NYR vs Minny is the one I think will be the most competitive and closest this week.

The Devils going off like that was definitely the surprise, but shoutout to Joel Ward hat tricks.
NYR/Minny should be good, I expect Boston/Columbus to come down to Sunday as well. Can 'Lumbus stay undefeated and retain their spot on the McDavid podium?

Kuznetsov has some sparks where he looks like a top 20 forward in the NHL. Consistency is key but I think he will be so good. Think staying in the KHL for so long helped develop him to the player he is today.
