What's the future of r/hockeydynasty? The last post was 5 months ago explaining the future of the subreddit, but since then, nothing.
I'm not sure I understand the role of that subreddit given our involvement on this board, so I was curious from the admins what the plans were. Have we thought about closing it down or is someone else going to step up and start organizing it?

We only really used it when we didn't have this site set up yet but now that it is, this is far more useful then the subreddit is, I think we should probably just abandon it, everyone is on here now and that's what matters.
I know Chris was planning on taking over the reddit page, but I think things got busy for him.
I have no intention of keeping up the subreddit myself, but have no problem with somebody else putting content there. I'm on reddit just as much as these forums, so I'm happy to talk with you guys on both ends!

I'm presonally not sure there's a need for the subreddit anymore. I think Chris' plans in his last post on the subreddit were interesting, but they could easily be transferred to the forums too. I think the forums are acting in a more capable capacity than what the subreddit was originally intended for (e.g. we even moved the voting on league rules from the subreddit to here), and we initially needed the subreddit to focus people's attention on new forum posts. Now that everyone is actively on here, it doesn't make much sense to have to check in multiple places.
That being said, if someone does have a compelling argument for posting content on the subreddit, I'd be happy to use it too!
