The Edmonton Oilers have decided it is time to commit to a rebuild. While our core players are strong, we do not feel this team is built for a deep playoff run. I want to take this opportunity to thank our fans for being patient with our mediocrity. I fully believe we can build a contender around McDavid and Draisaitl (and Scheifele and Forsberg), this rebuild will not be another decade of darkness. We will build to contend in the near future.
Outside of those four players (and Adam Larsson), I'm willing to hear offers on any player. Of course, some players will take a good bit to move. I'm looking for high round picks, prospects close to making the jump to the NHL, and young players.
