We are about half way done with the NHL draft! Thought it would be a good point to talk about who we thought had the best teams so far (Besides your own)! So name your top 3 teams here!
Mine are (in no particular order):
New York Islanders:
Solid/Deep on Offense and Defense. Questionable in net, but I think their players will carry them.
Anaheim Ducks:
I love their top 2 forwards, their #1 D, and they have a big starting goaltender! I think they have drafted well into the 12th round.
Columbus Blue Jackets:
Their top D and Goalie is hard to ignore. Landeskog is a hitting machine and real young. Depending on how well Lehner does this team can go places!
Flames are shaping up. Solid #1 goalie. and their F/D positioned have some real talent. Nordiques are looking with TUrris, Kesler, Tavares, and O.E.L. Jets have Crosby.

Top 3 (no particular order):
DET - One of the youngest teams (median age of 24.5 years), with the 3rd highest average PPG for 2014/15. Stacked on D, so may be somewhat dependent on how they perform. NYR - Young team with a median age of 25 years, 2 young goalies, and an above average 2014/15 PPG. QUE - Young team with a median age of 25 years, solid young #1 F, D and G, and above average 2014/15 PPG.
Wildcards:
BOS - Tied for the second youngest median age (24), and hard to look past the fact that he'll be drafting Connor McDavid in the prospect draft. PIT - Highest average PPG for 2014/15, but also the oldest team, with a median age of 30.5 years.
N.B. My player ages are taken from a spreadsheet which may be slightly dated, but they should at least be consistent across the board!

Definitely agree with the consensus that the Ducks look pretty formidable.
Minnesota has nabbed more than a couple guys I wanted, same with Columbus, and both look to be in good shape. I really wanted both Evander and Wheeler so maybe I'm a little biased. Then again the Wild also have Ovi, so maybe I'm not.
I think one who deserved mention on here before now is San Jose. Young studs in MacKinnon and Johansen. Yeah it's an older team but there's so much quality in Perry, Pavel, Carter, Marleau, Gaborik...proven guys that have done it for a long time and will certainly do it again at least this year. Yeah, there's not much on D (TJ Brodie and...yeah, TJ Brodie), but I have faith that that early prospect pick will turn into an immediate asset and I think SJ stuck by the cardinal rule of real life drafts: take the best player available, worry about the rest later.
