Since the other poll (found here: redditdynastyhockey.freeforums.net/thread/175/playoff-seeds) is pretty much locked I thought I'd start the next convo...
...how many spots should 1st overall in the Entry Draft be able to fall.
IF 12 teams are up for the entry draft these are the percentages I set up:
20th Place: 28.5%
19th Place: 21.5%
18th Place: 16.5%
17th Place: 11%
16th Place: 7.5%
15th Place: 4.5%
14th Place: 3%
13th Place: 2.5%
12th Place: 2%
11th Place: 1.5%
10th Place: 1%
9th Place: 0.5%
The options are:
- 1 Spot Drop. The team that gets picked is first overall an then the rest of the order is by the standings.
- 2 Spot Drop. Two teams get picked. 1st Draw gets 1st overall. 2nd Draw gets 2nd overall. Rest of the order goes by the standings.
- 3 Spot Drop. Three teams get picked. 1st Draw gets 1st overall. 2nd Draw gets 2nd overall. 3rd Draw gets 3rd overall. Rest of the order goes by the standings.
