After nearly 4 years, the Toronto Maple Leafs have decided to cease operations. They got close to winning the cup, but alas, they may have to wait another 60 years before doing so.
On a personal level, this was a really fun league to be a part of. It was the first fantasy league I've taken seriously and it really helped open my eyes up to the level of craziness that is possible with such a deep league. Unfortunately, my personal time has been dwindling more and more (getting married next month is a bit part of that) and the direction of the league isn't something that suits me personally (I'd like to have seen more natural changes in rosters year over year instead of relaying solely on drafting/trading). Due to both factors, and out of respect for those in the league, I felt the fair thing to do for everyone was step aside so someone who is better suited for this sort of league can enjoy it.
