I do a little bit of New York Rangers writing as a side gig for The Hockey Writers and figured I'd throw out a shameless plug for the league. I usually tweet out all my articles so if you're on Twitter, feel free to give me a follow @jbigs11. If anyone else wants to throw in their twitter, twitch, discord or anything else in this thread, feel free to do so.

Sure I'll join in on this
I streamed a good amount over the past couple years. I haven't streamed in the past 2 months because holiday season. But I'll drop the socials and my twitch. I might branch into youtube, but for now, I'm figuring that out.

Hell yeah, bud! Ive been thinking of jumping into writing. Just not sure if I have the time right now between work, music and my hockey agency company I just started. Any tips though?

I've been doing it for a few years. It's not a sustainable job quite yet but it's great fun.
I would just start writing on a blog and promote through your social media. Any sort of topics would do. Once you've done that for a little and started getting a feel for blogging, you could actually start applying to jobs that have compensation.
It's sorta intuitive and a cliché but the best piece of advice I can give you is to just write as much as possible. Get a feel for your craft and what works best for you.
To be honest, The Hockey Writers is always looking for help. The only issue is that usually they require some prior experience in digital journalism/blogging. Still could be worth a try though.
